I have extensive counselling experience and knowledge working with individuals and groups covering a wide variety of issues and concerns. These include overcoming depression and anxiety, adjusting to grief and loss, resolving relationship issues, recovering from trauma and abuse, improving parenting skills, overcoming addictions, managing stress, new life changes and increasing one's self-esteem.

I bring a lifetime of experience to my work, many good, some very difficult and some life changing. I am in my early 50's and have been married for over 27 years and have 3 grown children.

However, I must confess that I do not know everything you are going through, or have gone through already. I would never presume to know you. Instead, I will listen very carefully to your experiences, and from here we will rediscover your hidden strengths and resources. Then I will use these riches to collaboratively design and build solutions that will fit for you and your life.

I employ a successful integrative therapeutic approach to my work. This effective combination encompasses the highly regarded cognitive behavior therapy, family systems therapy, and solution focused therapy.
